Title: Ends for cheapo cloches
Post by: Digeroo on February 09, 2011, 07:57:27
Poundland have cloches and I have some from 99p from last year but they have no ends.  I have tried various solutions but they all seem to blow off.  Has anyone got a cunning plan they are willing to sharem please?

How about bending couple of wirehangers into open ended square..like giant staple, pull clear plastic bag over, put couple of pegs to keep bag on place and push the wire legs into soil to stand against the open ends.
I had something similar supplied with my open ended cloches..

We just tie the ends of ours and tie with string and fix with a peg. Gives fan shape at each end but does make the cloche a bit smaller

I lie the ends of mine flat and put a brick on top, then as it warms up I set them upright and let the air in.

That's what I do with mine as well.
