Hi I am going to be using four beds which will be used mainly by:
Potatoes,
Parsnips/Carrots,
Brassicas and
Beans
Which bed would be most suitable to include leeks in?
Thanks
John
we follow our early potatoes with leeks/overwinter onions etc :)

same as manics !
leek seed sown thickly in a couple of short rows in april, then plant them ( either singly or in small bunches) after the early spuds are harvested.
I'm with our two older members above. :P ;D ;D ;D :-X
Oh Kev, you are awful but I like you ;D ;D ;D.
I assume you want to include them same time with you listed crops..well, you can put you leeks with your carrots and parsnips ;)
Which way are you rotating? If your beds went from potatoes to beans, then the leeks can go in ones the potatoes are out and will be out before the beans go in.
The same applies the other way, but presumably the potatoes will be manured and this would be better for the beans than for root veg.
Thank you all for answering. Will put them in once the early pots come out.
Hi Sea Sid... welcome to A4A... that's where I put mine too... :)

how big are the beds. come on seem like basic question that needs answering.
also downbytheseasid if you are in UK i would plant leeks with carrots.
there is supposedly a fly that attacks carrots.
