Looking to grow the small cherry toms this year in hanging baskets not had the best of luck for the past 2 years I normally grow Alisha Craig i dont now why it seems i had luck with them. I like a fry up on the weekend the boy fetches the blackpudding off the local market and we sit down and fix all the worlds problems, and have a laugh. They just the right size to have with our meal Thanks all Rugbypost
I grow in pots and last year was very impressed with a variety called Maskotka which was slightly earlier than whippersnapper but both cropped very well.

I was pleased with Minibel last year.
They grew early but I found them a bit tasteless
I normally grow every other year we like to have a holiday abroad either june, july or august so have to plant accordinly . The family are good with the garden but its not done to what i like so i plant and know it will not go to waste. The tomatoes last year came to nothing the fruits were all marked and miss shapen, but most years we put them in a draw and cover with a tea towel and they last us right up to christmas. So thought i would try small cherry toms this year never bought any or grown any but it its always fun trying new things in the garden. grannyjanny has been kind and is going to sort through her seeds and let me have a couple .Thanks to everyone Rugbypost

I grew Tumbling Tom last year and they were excellent plants - The one in the conservatory cropped for months and the fruit were a nice size, not too small like Hundreds And Thousands! Grew some 100s in baskets and they were TOO prolific. To pick all the ripe fruit as they came took ages, then removing stalks etc took just as long. They were great for a novelty but this year I'm sticking with Tumbling Tom!
