OH & I went shopping today. We went to a little old fashioned jewelers shop for a clock battery. There isn't much room in there & the bell rings if you don't close it properly. An old gentleman came in, the door opened again so he moved down to make room for the new customer who didn't close the door. The first man asked the second man to close the door, he was told, close it yourself. No you left it open. Well I'm not closing. I might want some fresh air. In the mean time the door bell continues to ring :o ::).
I wonder if 2 ladies of a certain age would behave in the same way?
Answers on a pots card please ;) ;D
I live with one, but I am probably a grumpy old woman, so we can moan about everything together. ;D ;D
I was on a bus once with my eldest son in a pram, on came an elderly lady with her son (?) she was in a wheelchair, so I got up to make room for her to be able to use the disabled space.
She stood up and walked to the back of the bus, asking me rudely to get out of the way and left her son (?) to deal with the empty wheelchair.
Talk about speachless...bus driver couldnt believe it either.
(needless to say I thought of plenty of things I couldve said afterwards !!)
2 ladies talking and shutting the door at the same time sounds like multi tasking they could not do it. ;)
