Title: moving trees

is it to late to move fruit trees? we are thinking of giving a plot up but dont know when to move our 5 friut trees to another plot? we have got till the end of march

I would say yes if the ground is not to frozen where you are.
The trees are dormant and would not be harmed if you dig out a large root ball to transport them.

What size are they? Small ones are fairly easy. Be prepared to give them a daily watering all through next growing season.

Yes when not frosty, get as many roots as you can, dont let them dry out, re plant asap,and plant at the same depth, they may need staking to keep firm , good luck.
