About time too, sorry Mr Chaytor but you are a fiddling git( like the majority of ya mates) and you deserve all that is coming to you, enjoy the strip down shower in full view of the screws, ;D
One of his mates was just on the news bigging him up and saying he hopes he will be back 'helping' the community when he has done his stretch. Whats the betting he gets co-opted back into a job with perks.
did he not just plead guilty to avoid his daughter having to give evidence?

"Labour MP Barry Sheerman said Chaytor was "the straightest person that most of us knew" and he had been disappointed by what had happened."
If he's the straightest person you know, you've been keeping the wrong company.

and .. You will be judged by the company you keep

When are the 600 others going to get banged up all of them where caught so all of them should go to jail. The only honest man to enter parliament was Guy Fawkes at least he had the right intentions
Guy Fawkes "intention" was to make Britain a Catholic country through the use of terrorism. He was no better than the ideologically driven Islamic fundamentalists nowadays. I'm friends with a former MP who was very hard working and made huge personal sacrifices to serve her country and constituents. It's just lazy to say they are all bad. Some are, most aren't, even the ones you or I disagree with.
I would like to see all those who fiddled go the same way. The bloody prisons would be full
His new expenses will be a soap on a string, so he don't drop it in the shower.

typical homophobic response from the south island ;)
I remember an old saying
"There is good and bad in the best of us.
There is bad and good in the rest of us."
Just about sums us up. ;D ;D

He commited the crime, now he does the time. Unlike those mealy mouthed cowards who pleaded not guilty.
actually...... he pleaded guilty to get a lesser sentencing otherwise he could have got several years - called plea bargaining ;D and as a message to others this won't stop the 'bending of the rules' as far as expenses goes and is no different to fat cat management that this country is run by >:(
