Title: Wagging tails
Post by: PurpleHeather on January 03, 2011, 21:27:16
I know full well that I am going to open this to all those with a variety of humours but I am going to go ahead anyway.

For almost all my life I have been curious about the sensation animals feel that causes their tails to wag.

Dogs with pleasure and cats when they are displeased.

I have tried to google it, just to see if any one can compare the feeling to anything humans are familiar with but have found nothing.

Granted the result of a test is not likely to be earth shattering. I just wonder what the sensation is.

A dog expresses everso very much more than happiness with its tail - though it has to be said that there are dialects, just as with human language.  Tails can say happy, hello, excited, sorry, angry, superior, timid, watch it, amorous, and all things in between.  And now tails are no longer docked dogs are finding their voice again!
