I think they smell lovely. I also have some Yankee tealights (clean cotton fragrance). The only ones I dont like are the ones that smell of cookies, cinnamon, vanilla, pumpkin pie etc. I love the smell of the real spices in baking though. Our local Homebase used to sell yankee candles and just before Christmas were selling them at reduced prices.
They are now selling a cheaper version of scented candle.

At the moment I have one called Christmas Eve on the go.

I bought the burner and the candles/oil from Hallmarks as they were in the sale.

I have seveal called Mulled wine to have a go at yet.

The clean cotton sounds nice.

I love candles but usually go for the cheaper option of burning essential oils. Pine & orange or tangerine make a lovely Christmasy smell. My daughters rub a thyme, t tree & lavender mix into little ones feet to help them overcome viruses. Rose absolute is wonderful as a perfume. I bought a tiny bottle several years ago & used to put it down my bra to release the aroma. It's heavenly. The mixes are endless.
I used to have reflexology with a lady who didn't use oils & felt no benefit whatsoever, when I found a lady who did use them I noticed the difference immediately.
