Just me being nosey! I got a posh box of Burgon and Ball stuff from my brother, including a paper pot maker, dibber, string line etc (I know, all unnecessary but nice when it's a present!) and a razor hoe (as recommended by Alys Fowler in the Guardian) from OH -the heavy hints paid off!

My daughter had bought me a gardening diary just before my bargain Sarah Raven one arrived- felt bad about that but she's happy to take it back.
So what did you all get?
Mine hasn't arrived yet, 3 dual cordon fruit trees, supposed to be before the end of february, maybe the ground will have softened by then ;D
I got 'Grow your own spices' coriander, fennel and fenugreek, with 3 flower pots, soil and seeds in a box. Also hand cream and hand wash as gardeners need that. Also a copper based saucepan from OH as I burnt the old one making/burning jam.
I got TWO sets of windowsill herbs plus seeds- maybe someone is trying to tell me to enliven my cooking! I also got two pairs of gloves and an amarylis.
I got one of those seed dispenser suckie things ive had my eye on,again, not summat id buy myself but a super pressie..about 10 pks of seeds inc lots of herbs from my sis,and also she got me one of those green plastic bag type planter things, for a stand up herb garden, which ill keep at home as we have belfast sinks at the lottie for herbs...a book on selecting and keeping chickens which is going to be 2012s project...hark at us planning ahead!
ticket to gardeners world from my son. The rest of them had turned there hearing aids off ::) ::)
well...I got 'Grow you own drugs' book from GrannyJanet ;D :-*
.. and I got 'Tips from the old gardener' book and calendar ;D
I'll be sharing the tips with you all..if they are any good ::)
Apart from the excellent prezzie from the Gardening Leave thread...I got another Dalek! which sadly was too big to wrap up and put under the tree, but was still a lovey prezzie.
The nearest I got to a gardening present which would be hard as I do have everything I need, was a kindle, which I could have a gardening book on. Plus I don't have to remember my glasses everytime I need to read it.
Slug pellets. ;D ;D ;D
Got a grow frame kit for the raised bed :-* :-* :-*
Nope. But I did get a large poinsettia.
Bugger all on the gardening front, apart from a woolly hat that should and will be only put on my head when I'm down the allotment in the dark. :-[
Lovely strong pair of lopers, plus a fair bit of cash which is going to be spent on gardening implements. So far have a mattock & springy rake on my list. Sure the list will grow though ;D
A new pair of gloves and some weed suppressing fabric - which I got by dropping extra large hints to daughter - might as well get your children to give you something you actually want. Not that I don't like chocolates, mind.....
I got one gardening pressie,a very small herb kit with those tiny tiny pots,no use at all really but that sounds so ungrateful so smack my hand ;D
12m thermostatically controlled soil-warming cable and an exterior plug kit for me to put on the back of the house.
Your hand is smacked, but I do know what you mean. Expensive box, soil and 3 pots and packets of seeds, I expect it cost a fortune. Alan Titchmarsh has his name on some gardening stuff in Smiths, but it is so, so expensive (even now it is all reduced). It's the thought that counts, so don't get like me ungrateful, and no-one buys me anything. Lucky Cornykev got the slug pellets that I wanted, but did find some in the pound shop. I did want that kitten, but was sensible and said 'no' and they have all gone to good homes now.
A nice little pair of cutters and a potting table.
I cannot wait to get some seeds in a pot!
Book of herbs :) great excuse to buy more plants ;D

To balance these fab gifts i also had several hideous bracelets, randomexpensive perfume (brothers girlfriend is an avon rep) and a jellyfish led lamp with an american plug on it ! ::)
However looking forward to watching my trees grow, if they survive the onslaught of more snow and ice , fingers crossed!
