my potatoes arrived xmas eve so they are going oin the chitting trays now hopefully its not to early

Seems a bit early, but they're better sitting in egg boxes in the light - the lighter the better - than sweating in the dark in their bags, just don't let them get warm or they'll get away.

A bit early for me too, I buy mine direct about the 2nd or 3rd week in January.     ;D ;D ;D

ours have been ordered from our local supplier, he usually delivers in early January, depending how the weather is in Scotland  :)
