Title: User Account and Screen Resolution
Post by: Palustris on December 24, 2010, 13:02:40
In W7 (as in others) you can have different User accounts, BUT, is it possible to have a different Screen resolution for each account, so that when one changes from User to User the Resolution changes with it?  If so, how?
TIA.

In short you cant do that!

I have had one or two machines with graphics drivers\cards that do just that but Windows 7 does not natively support it..

is for XP - may work on Windows 7 or there may be some other third part utils..

Thanks. I thought that might be the case. If I hide the Task bar then I can see the bottom of the screen as I need to, inconvenient but not as bad as having to change resolution every time.
