Title: The spam attack
Post by: SamLouise on December 15, 2010, 22:38:34
I think I've gotten rid of them all, please let me know if I haven't.

Please don't moan in your reports, I'm not on here all of the time and obviously neither is Dan or Ceres.  A power cut has actually knocked out my broadband tonight and I'm trying to do this via a Nokia 6700 mobile connection - as you can imagine, I'd be quicker with a crank handle, lolol.

Wish I had the ability to block spammers but unfortunately I don't so ho hum, back to waiting for the next one to pop up ...!

Thanks :)

Oh Sam I hope you don't think I was moaning. I reported everyone I saw  and then asked a question in Website suggestions, I now know what a spam attack is! Pity they do not have allotments to keep them busy. ???

Thanks for being so vigilant. Hippy dave has explained what is happening.

I must admit Spam fritters never sounded appetizing- even less so now!! ;)

Without wishing to start a hoo-ha (that's my technical term) I've removed the last few posts from this thread as I felt them to be a little inappropriate :)

And ... what's with the sudden influx of spamming? Blimey, they are coming thick and fast this past few days! :-\

I think you do a great job  :)  much faster clean-up rates than other forums I frequent.

Sam..........You are brilliant and I have sent a note to Father Christmas.

I often see children behaving badly with their parents and at this time of year It works wonders for the frustrated mother

To say to the child .

'I am one of Father Christmas's helpers. What is your name. Always the mother twigs and tells me the child's name. I then add.

I can tell Father Christmas that you are being very good then.

There is nothing more needs to be said.

TRY IT.
