Title: The Apprentice - I was shocked
Post by: Digeroo on December 09, 2010, 11:58:19
I was totally frustrated by last nights editions of the Apprentice.  How could Sugar be taken in?  Was this blantant sexual discriminations?  How could he throw out the girl who had shown that week after week she could walk the walk and talk the talk in favour of a buffon with a load of bull?

Sugar does not deserve talent such as this.  I think there should now be a public vote and Sugar should have to work with the result.

Liz went because Sugar saw through her tactics.  She thought that Stuart would mess up (and he did) and as PM would get fired.  She made no team effort to sort out the pricing etc.

I have the feeling they like to keep the 'characters' as they make better viewing.

The kid is someone who could destroy his business if let loose and Sugar knows it,if not he is losing the plot  . ;D

Tony's right, it's just tv. The year Badger didn't win, she still ended up working for Viglen (prop. Alan Sugar)... so she wasn't "fired". Lies lies lies.

Perhaps that was a good reason to get rid of her but it was not the reason given.

Yes I know it is a fictional soap opera but it gives the wrong impression.

Mind you don't they have access to the internet, it would have only taken 30 secs to find out the prices of the tourist bus trips.

I tried watching the Apprentice once but just didn't enjoy it.  Same with that other money making series on BBC2 when a panel of rich people sit behind a desk and listen to people's inventions with the option to invest?  Couldn't get into that either.  Both very popular programmes though.

Edit:  Dragon's Den I think, LOL

Think they saved Stuart so he could be grilled and massacred by the demon interviewers next week. Can't wait to see them cut him down to size.   ;D busy_lizzie
