Read something recently about these. These are now available after a few years break they are a PFA Charlotte cross. Has anybody grown them.
I've been looking at these too - would be great to know if anyone has tried them - they ain't cheap.
I grew them a couple of years ago they are very nice firm,tasty spuds well recomended.
Yes, these are on my possible list as well, so a useful thread for me too, thanks. Any more experiences of them out there?
PaulW what was the yield like?
Thanks.

I think it was a medium to good yield with some good sized spuds,
I grew them a couple of years ago, but I prefer Anya as a PFA cross because they taste LESS like PFA than Harlequin do...they still taste like brazil nuts to me so I wasn't so keen! I did find I got quite a few green tubers, but that was probably my fault, they were in a raised bed so more difficult to earth up deeply. I got a fair yield, not brilliant.

How can you not like the taste of PFA? :o

I know, a vegetarian who doesn't like the taste a nuts ..... ::)
Well, that's decided me to go for them, thanks all. I loove PFA, but they are too late, blight-prone and space-consuming for me to grow anymore. I much prefer the taste of PFA to Anya, so Harlequin on my list as a definite now!
:)
Think i will definatley give these a try next time.
I grew some two years ago and really liked them. They cropped better and tasted much better than Anya. They were on the early side of a maincrop, so a bit later than Charlotte but a lot earlier than PFA. I was disappointed that T&M couldn't supply them but thanks to Lottiman I have tracked them down and ordered some.
