Title: Does anyone overwinter Masterpiece Green Longpod?
Post by: earlypea on November 07, 2010, 07:06:23
As the header?  In the South-East? Anyone?  :)

I know the bumph says not, but they were my favourite from a spring sowing last year on account of a lack of peskies not to mention their emerald good looks.

Not personally, and I'm south-east (ish) as well.

Last year I lost all my broad beans (Aquadulce) to frost, though most years recently they've done well.

I grow these in spring and they are brill, but I have given up overwintering the broadies and it didn't seem to make much difference or they died!
