The phone rang and a gentleman on the other end started into a spiel of being from microsoft and he was worried that their was some virus on my computor. Well I had heard about this scam so I pretended to be a worried old man and went along with him and grabbed my mobile to use the recorder. I dithered and pretended to do what he was asking but I could not get the voice recorder on, but the phone makes beeping noises when I push buttons. He asked what the sound was, so I changed voice quickly and pretended to shout to a team behind me 'RIGHT, TRACE IS WORKING, GOT HIM, SEND IN AN ARMED SQUAD NOW!'
The phone wend dead very quickly and I bet he is need of a clean pair of undercrackers. So if you see a gentleman of indian extraction hanging a pair out to dry in the next half hour, report him he's a scammer. ;D
Trust you Ace!
;D ;D ;D

Brilliant - more people should do this!
I know one person who actually went along with them and gave them remote access to her PC..
Reminds me of this way of dealing with cold callers!!!
