Should have guessed really- went looking for garlic and pot feet in Wilko today and found the garden space taken over by Halloween and Christmas stuff. Only one tiny stand with a few bits on. The assistant told me there would be some out soon but not much! >:(
Well..when it comes to Christmas week they will start clearing the stuff for gardening again ::) 1st week in January and seed racks are on ;)
And the nursery's busling with spuds. ;D ;D ;D
It's the same everywhere. I went looking for some black membrane to cover my raised beds for the winter (cats!), but Wilko's, pound shops, Poundstretcher et al, all cleared of gardening stuff. One pound shop employee told me it all gets sent back to their storage depot to make room for the seasonal rubbish stuff.

I've got a friend who works for Wilkos and your gardening days are numbered for the time being, lol. Out with the halloween and full steam ahead for Christmas ...
but stay alert for the bulb sale in a couple of weeks time, garlics already all gone at mine ...bugger!
