Went for a curry and it was good, apart from the 8 under 5 year olds who were eating or not eating there. Miserable old Nanny, but it was 7 pm and had after a day of babysitting did want to talk to OH, not hear the screaming and spitting drinks through straws. I digress. After the meal I wanted a coffee, and I thought the waiter said, 'here is your coffee', well I got a milk jug, and a cup. When I held the cup it was cold, thought maybe I didn't ask for hot coffee, I tried to stir it but it was solid. OH was laughing, like men do, and I said could you ask for a hot coffee please. It turned out not only was I deaf, but was stirring the lumps of brown sugar they had given me for the coffee. When the coffee did appear it was lovely and hot. I had already made an appointment for Specsavers tomorrow but didn't know I was deaf as well as stupid. My excuse is I haven't had an eye test for 5 years. Think that would make a good advert for Specsavers.
I think you should open up another tin of Roses !! ;D It will make you feel better!!
Quaity Street would be better. SIL read the base of the tin I bought him & he told me the coloured wrappers can be composted, perhaps Roses can too ;D ;D.
I think your ready for the knackers yard girl, hello, yes, I'm over hear, blimey what's she like. :-X ;D ;D ;D ;)

Blimey Shirl I bet you thought Halloween had come early. :-X ;D ;D ;D :-*
Well good news is my eyes are more or less OK, apart from the fact I need stronger glasses. Good that they do all the tests, and the eye test is free for OAP's. Said I also need long distance glasses so that may help me at tennis, thought I saw the ball OK but maybe not. One day you will get old Kev, so show some respect. ;) ;) ;)
