Can I still harvest it?

After watching HFW this week I really fancy some rhubarb!

No I wouldn't neither..but next year when rhubarb is in season..chop few sticks in pieces and freeze for those late season urges.. ;)

GL - this is the first time this year it's actually looked good enough to eat!

I think I'll go with apple instead!

Mine has just about rotted away so I certainly wouldn't fancy eating it now.

If yours is an older plant you can force it to get an early crop of super soft rhubarb, but it's a while yet before you can do that (I cover one plant in Jan).
