Title: As I said
Post by: Tee Gee on October 14, 2010, 15:44:56
I am happy with the size & quantity of Peppers I have grown this year but not the colour.

They have barely ripened at all so rather than let them remain on the plant to ripen I harvested these this morning before too many of them damp off as some were doing!

This variety usually grows to around 6"- 8" long and about 4"- 5" over the shoulders as you can see here on this 14" x 8" tray.

I don't think I will be growing that aubergine again, OK it is long but I like the squat pear shaped ones e.g. Moneymaker

The one in the picture is 'Long Purple' but next year I am reverting back to 'Moneymaker' to go with my 'Moneymaker' tomatoes  ::)

The Peppers are my own seed!

They are the offspring of a pepper I bought in a spanish supermarket a few years ago!
