Allotments 4 All

I am going to wrap up 6 small Christmas Gifts to be sent to 6 of the first 49 that donate this year.

To make it a truly fair random choice of who will receive these surprise Christmas presents I propose that each of the first 48 people that donate can choose a number between 1 and 49 (first donation first choice!  one choice per person!)
Then the six that will receive the surprise gifts will be the winning numbers from the Lotto main draw on Saturday the 11th of December which should allow enough posting time for them to arrive in time for Christmas.

The winners can elect to have the present delivered to their local Post Office or other address if they wish.

The aim of this is to try and make it interesting and get more people to donate this year.

If however we do not get near the 49 donations we will arrange a draw out of a hat for the gifts.

So when you have made your donation just come here and post the number you would like!
I will place a list of the taken numbers every few posts to make it easier to see which numbers are left.
Please try and keep this thread to number choices only

Seems like this is going to be a non starter with a lot of members already having donated and entered...

May be you should tag this pressie message onto the main thread...people may have missed it   ;D

It is the analysis of the six main balls in the lotto draw and the result of odd and even numbers appearing.

Just got the PM telling me I'd been lucky in the draw, been at work all weekend....what a lovely surprise at the end of a rotten week's luck....crashed my car, washing machine broke down irreparably, and have a rotten sore throat just as I start a weeks leave to organise Christmas!  ;D

There is a little bit of a story behind each item

The mug and card were supporting Thrive which got our donation last year.

The seeds were from a discussion on here

And the plant labels were an idea from a topic discussing the rotting of large wooden labels

Can't thank you enough, Dave.  It was the only present that I didn't know the contents of and how exciting it was to fight through the bubblewrap to find each surprise! Wishing you a very merry Christmas and happy and healthy 2011. 

Great suprise, very thoughtful contents thanks again Dave. I particularly liked the large plant labels, they will be great for potatoes which I always manage to lose the labels of...... ::)
