Well. I like spicy, but that did look a tad OTT. I don't think I'll be buying a bottle.
After the chap had tasted the sauce, he was drinking milk, presumably to offset the heat. I understand that this, or any dairy product isn't much help. The best thing to offset the intense heat is (as Mary Poppins sang) a spoonful of sugar.
Whilst I'm the biggest coward when it comes to tasting the chillis I've grown, and have to get Tony to try them ;D. (A case of chick, chick, chick, chick chicken, lay a little egg for me ;D).
If you are ever brave enough to have another go at the sauce, I'd be interested to know if you thought the sugar was better than dairy to offset the pain.

The heat in chilies is due to Capsaicinoids which are irritants that produce a burning sensation. As they are an oily compond then milk is a good choice as it will dissolve the oils. This is why water doesn't work.. Any oil based compound will work but gargling with veg oil may be a bit much..
I have never tried sugar but I have some ripe naga's downstairs so Ill bear that inmind..
Valmarg~~When I tasted the sauce milk was not available so I sent my OH to the icecream van and he bought me a "99" minus the flake!! It really eased the intense heat so maybe the combination of the milk(icecream) and sugar helped.
I will be buying the sauce before christmas because a friend of mine refuses to believe that a sauce can be that bad. He reckons that it wouldn't affect him. Little does he know he will have to give this one a go! ;D

Blinking well annoys me, this sort of thing, what on earth is the point of doing something painful like that? Why do people do things that are painful and unpleasant and publicise it like that?
I hardly ever watch utube, really only links on here, and this one is well enough for me and I understand there's worse.
Duke Ellington, don't want to offend you, but I wouldn't buy any friend of mine a present that would hurt them, unless you think that it really would give them pleasure. It takes allsorts I suppose. Me, I'm a cadburys flake sort of a person.
Apart from the unpleasantness bit, I suppose what gets to me too, is folk spending loads of money on tiny amounts of hot chilli sauce, to have one spoonful and most probably chuck the rest away after its been sitting around in the cupboard.
Advertising maybe brilliant, product inedible.
Oh come on jennym. Its a bit of a joke. As I said earlier, I'm a complete coward when it comes to tryng the chillies I've grown. They may be hot, they may be not.
Apparently the ones I've grown this year are not hot. Dissapointment, but there you go. ;D
