Now I am clearing up and find slug eggs under dead leaves, overgrown plants, etc. etc.
How do I deal with them? Is just scattering them OK and hope they dry up? Or should I collect them and get rid of them..........best way?
I crush them by stamping on them
They don't tend to dry out anymore this time of the year..in summer yes..if I come across clump of them I put all on bird table..they don't last long ;)

my tutor tells us today that slug eggs (bleurgh) are the see thru sort...I always thought they were the white ones...turns out the white or orange ones are worm eggs, guess who has been stamping on the wrong kind, doh!

Sadly, I find this interesting - does anyone have a picture of the genuine article?

It's going to get worse - snail farmers are selling snail eggs as mollusc caviar - slug eggs would count as this - in fact to me slug eggs look identical to snails eggs. There's probably no reason why they would taste much different.
I haven't tried either but I have given both to my fish - though they aren't as enthusiastic as they are when I give them ant 'eggs'.
Cheers (and bon appetit).
