Title: Daffs
Post by: Unwashed on September 26, 2010, 21:46:54
Local garden centre is selling sacks of narcissi for £7 which seems very good so I've bought a couple and planted a swathe at the front of my plot.  I've naturalized daffs on the plot before and I've noticed how all the variagated ones die just leaving the yellow daffs so these new ones are just plain yellow and I hope they'll thrive.  Lovely bit of colour in the spring.

Do like to see some daffs on the plot in the spring, they seem to do better there than in my back garden. Sounds like you'll have a treat in the spring with all those!

We've got some on the ploy and they herald "the start"

I bought a 5Kg sack of mixed daffs from Lidl last week for £5 and the RHS Shop at Wisley was selling 10Kg sacks for £10.  My garden's going to be very yellow with patches of white next spring ;D
