Thursday is the day that my computer shuts down and installs new things without a by your leave. I might be right in the middle of something but whatever it decides its time to close me down. Some things get saved but others like a post for a thread just disappear. Sometime my carefully planned yahoo toolbar with personalised icons so I can click on my favourite websites gets completely rescheduled.
Does anyone know how to stop this happening please? It is driving me nuts.

If not try "Control Panel > Automatic Updates" and change your options there.
I use OSX so I'm not 100% sure that'll work.
