they're great. Love the carrots.
mushrooms too?
I must admit we did not grow the mushrooms, they were growing in the horses field next to our allotment ;D
wow - look at all that home grown veg - fantastic.
A great many varieties there! Hard to believe it is your first year. You prove it CAN be done, lisaparkin.
Well done... :)
Well Done!! They look great!!
Bringing home the harvest is the best part.
Duke :)
Not only new to allotments but also new to veg growing that is mega impressive. And you have cheered up the forum with lots of piccies. Well done lisaparkin.
Thank you all. Yes the best part is bringing it home and eating it :D
i've come to the conclusion that the secret to growing carrots is nobody's told you they're really rather difficult
oops, that's torn it :)
Must say that all looks rather fab..... I've just found a place with horse mushrooms too... if I can get another couple of pickings off there that match the first one then I'll have enough in the freezer to last me a year.....
chrisc
Fantastic, well done you - love the artistic work on the carrots ;), maybe a new venture for you next year, see what faces can be drawn on veg :D ;D
Its always great to feast on your own home grown veg. It just cannot be beaten. Great pics
