Someone posted earlier this year about using Ikea nets on the lotty. I bookmarked the details but puter had to be wiped so lost details & am going to Ikea tomorrow. Have searched but can't find it. Can anyone help please?
When you do find it can you give me the link cos I want to buy some online if I can Jan. I want to cover the blackcurrant bushes with it to stop the aphids
Will do Shirley.
Shirley I've just looked on line & I think it's the LILL curtain at £3.99. Have a look & if that's the one & you have to order on line I could get them & post them to you.
Are these what you have in mind?

I feel a visit to my son in MK coming on.
I don't like netting my red currants the birds keep getting caught up in it.
I hope you don't mind me posting the link GJ but I know it is something that is dfficult with your system.
Thanks Digeroo, my hero ;) ;D. One day I will get it right. If there's anything you need I could get it for you as we will be meeting up fairly soon.

I am going to make a bird proof bag that can be put over the bush and tightened at the bottom with a draw cord.I did buy some fleece ones but they werent strong enough and after a few windy days they tore
I like the sound of your bag. Except the red currant bush in my garden is huge and the little blighters seem to sneak in the smallest hole I have used fleece for some time but last year they lost their fear of it and just ignored it. Actually beaked through it. So this year it lasted no time at all. They remembered from last year.
