Title: The harvest is home
Post by: Tee Gee on September 10, 2010, 13:09:36
Been down to the plot this morning to do a bit of harvesting before everything goes to seed.

The Calabrese (despite the dodgy manure) has been excellent this year. I could have picked more but I like to leave some for eating fresh.

This lot is destined for the freezer not that I like freezing it! I find that the flower buds seem to drop off any suggestions on how to avoid this?

Picked a load of french beans threw 90% of them away as they had gone to seed.

Picked this; a love apple  ::)

Lovely Tee Gee. Humous dip would go down a treat here with all that calabrese.
