Title: SHRINKING PHOTOS

 Eric can you help me learn how to shrink my photos please ,i cant keep putting such large ones on the board. Much appreciated thank you.
ps i have them all in photobucket.

I think you have the answer above??

Sizing in Photobucket is an insensitive method - as Petals says, put them in photo manager or editor or whatever, and get the size down to about 300. = Tim

Assuming you have a Program which came with your camera, there will be a facility within that for reducing the size of images. You do need to do this before you send them to Photobucket. I use 300 pixels wide for putting side by side on here and 450 for single pictures. Let me know which program you have and I may be able to give more detailed information.

I use HP Photo Manager - much better than the one that came with the camera  ;D.

I have gotten into the habit of reducing mine to 500x375 (in 'landscape' veiw) before uploading to photobucket or whatever. Just make sure you maintain the aspect ratio otherwise the photos will turn outall weird!

Oh and unless you want the original pictures this size make sure you 'Save As' a new file rather than 'Save' which overwrites the original.
