Sitting here in the study, up the street comes - music blaring - AN ICE CREAM VAN ??? Its cold, its wales, its almost christmas for heavens sake!!!

We have one arrives, rain, snow or shine, every Sunday! Never seen anyone use it yet but, there is a bend in the road, so I could be well wrong!
But the best I rememer is in childhood, when a Walls Ice Cream van came to the house every Saturday! Remember Walls 77s with great fondness!

Oh we get one around our way every saturday morning. There are children in the close, but i cant think what business it does at this time of year - unless it sells hot drinks as well - lol
I can't quite grasp what ice cream has to do with winter? ice cream will be on the menu in many restaurants and homes in winter together with ice cold beer and I'm definitely down for the latter :D

Ice cream van comes here all year round but seems to sell mostly juice (lemonade/pop/ginger whatever you call it in your various regions), sweets, crisps and cigs - at inflated prices I believe...
Now i think about it is there such a thing as a walnut ripple ??

hehehehe. Mr Hockings, the God of all ice creams, will be doing the rounds in my Nans part of Barnstaple right through Christmas. Ooooo I could murder one now, in an oyster, with an extra dollop of the clotted stuff.................droooooooooooool :P
