Eric brought some seeds back from Africa, this is the result, I'll be keeping some seeds ;D
14 oz, 15 oz and 3 oz
Ooooooh missed this, they look fantastic, how did they taste?
d'ya know, they're lovely and meaty, about 6 per truss, 4 trusses per plant, we have them in the poly, no watering to speak of and they've done best of all, nice, tom with few seeds ;D
Mmm a handsome beast ;D
Very interesting and heavy for one truss. Are the seeds tiny?
If you have a few seeds to spare Manic I could swap you for a baby plum(lidls own) saved seed. It stays well on the truss for ages without going soft
I'll be saving some from the 30 or so still going(went a bit mad with tomatoes this year), Shirley..please don't swap with me, I have that many varieties of them, I haven't got room for them all ;D
will send you some when they're ready :)
the seeds are quite small, Grannie
I went out and purposely bought some oxheart seeds for next years sowing. I grew 2 plants this year and the flavour was out of this world. They sort of don't taste like tomatoes. They have a really rich, meaty flavour. GORGEOUS!!!
