Title: White Cucumbers
Post by: Manouche on August 10, 2010, 21:21:26
Am posting this for Bill my allotment neighbour who after years of growing super vegetables is very surprised that his cucumbers have all turned white.
Don't know what variety they are but definately green skins on seed packet he tells me.
The cucumbers taste as they should and are a very good size...just white skin.
Can anyone help him out.  Thank You x

well I can only assume they're the wrong variety that got into the packet by mistake? Does that company also sell white cucumbers?

If he likes them, maybe he could try white ones again next year!

it happens, however careful we are we can label things wrong (senior moments  ;D) or yes could be the seed merchant who got it wrong - hope he likes them they are super flavours just like the crystal apple and lemon cucs
