Title: Kale problem
Post by: Si D on August 09, 2010, 15:32:25
I notice on the bottom of the leafs of my purple kale, there was lots of white spots, all around the size of a pin head.  Wetting them and rubbing/scratching at them makes them come off, but takes a long time.

Any idea of what they could be and how to get rid of them easily?  I'm guessing that they are either some kind of insect egg, or fungal spore?

Yeah I have them too - kale is a b****r to clean isn;t it! I had assumed it was some kind of aphid, but it hasn't ever increased so I haven't done anything about it.
