Title: Pasta sauce in December ?

Just popped this little mixture in the bottom of the oven (roast pork for lunch)I'll whizz it up later and freeze in packs for a taste of summer in December. So glad we haven't suffered blight ...yet :-X

what seasonings do you put in yours Macmac, please?  Love all the colors!

I start with olive oil,onions,garlic(whole bulb)celery ,large chilli.Sugar,salt ,pepper,red wine vinegar and a couple of sprigs of rosemary.Nearing the end I'll throw some basil in .I'll be turing the oven off soon but I'll leave the toms in until cold.
