Title: difference between calabrese and Broccoli?

Could someone point me to source that clearly defines the difference between calabrese and Broccoli?

calabrese is a large central head and when cut can produce smaller off shoots and is frost tender so usually harvested before the really cold weather sets in - broccoli sprouts smaller stems, usually in the ground for a long time and harvested early spring onwards
