do you get them in UK I can't remember if you do.
we get lots here especially when there are lots of peaches around, I got fed up with them this morning so I put some Listerine (mouth wash) in a spray bpttle and just gave a couple of goes in the air and it worked, they have gone,,, thank goodness.. qahtan
that's different, I put a glass of vinegar on the shelf and they jump in and die , mind you, it does take time ;D
I am going to try both - we seem to be plagued with them, daughter bought some nectarines and one was already on the turn and had some flies in it while I was away and she didn't notice so we now have lots of them so thank you, I hope it works ;) :)
Hey dont knock fruit flies, we wouldnt know about genetics it it wasnt for them
;D
I thought it was the peas wot done it ? ;D ;D
Qatahn has reminded me of school when I had to raise fruitflies for genetics class. had to carry around a test tube with them growing on some fruit and was horrified how fast the rascals reproduced.
Looks as though my Listerine worked as I have no fruit flies in the kitchen today.
