Title: Dicentra.
Post by: shirlton on July 30, 2010, 15:16:29
I have grown 3 dicentra from seed and they have made magnificent plants. The one is a double yellow and is lovely. The other two are purple but these two have made buds but they don't open they just droop and eventually drop off. They are watered regularly and are in large pots.

I am intrigued by your double yellow Dicentra. There is a climbing Dicentra called Dicentra scandens which is vaguley yellow, but single. All the other Dicentra are either white or pink or red. Be interested to see a picture of this plant I must admit.
