I'm really pleased with the Minibel tomatoes this year. The plants are tiny but they just keep producing tomatoes day after day.
They taste good, but Sungold are still my favourite.

good crop ?
I have loads, but still all green, and we have had loads of sun here. Can't wait for the first red one.

Yes, not bad at all. The tomatoes tend to be hidden by the leaves but still get ripe. The plants take up hardly any space at all, unlike the Sungold and Mille Fleur which are taking over the greenhouse. But my fault for planting 3 of each when 1 each would have been more than enough.
If you have limited space then Minibel are perfect. (if only they tasted like Sungold they would be even better!)
I think this is one going under my lights through the winter, looks really good.Thankyou XX Jeannine
Squash when you say tiny, how small are they please?
My Minibel tomato plants are about 8-10" high (but there's one rouge plant quite a bit taller, habit of plant and size of fruit same as Minibel); sowed ten seeds and got ten plants, seven are on my plot and the other three on the schools plots. They are loaded with fruit but not yet ripe. Hadn't grown tomatoes for a few years as they always seemed to get hit by blight just as they were ripening but this year, so far they are ok (but we did have a blight warning for our area yesterday)
My minibell that I got from Betty I have in hanging baskets with french marigolds around them and they are doing fine. The toms are about the size of GD and very tasty
Sorry I meant height wise. The ones I have wouldn't fit on the windowsill, but I did plant them in bigger pots as I didn't have any 6'' ones.
Darn it, I have just looked for mine to find I don't have any minibels, anyone want to swap a few XX Jeannine
I've got some. Shall I send them to you?

They are between 8" to 12" high and as wide as they are high. The tomatoes are roughly the same size as Sungold.
Thanks squash. Sounds good for on the windowsill :).
They look yummy I am envious :) Oh how I wish mine would ripen soon. I grew sungold last year in patio posts it was the first time I had grown tomatoes. They were really yummy and I spent most of the time walking round the garden picking off the tomatoes and eating them. :)
