Title: Bonbons on Bangladeshi-style frame - update
Post by: Squash64 on July 27, 2010, 14:32:48
An update on my Bangladeshi-style frame for my rampant Bonbon squash.

This photo was taken on 19th July

and this one today, 8 days later

One of the shoots has already reached the edge of the 'roof', I think it needs an extension!

Very nice, how many plants is that?

How mant fruit are you exspecting? I have got 10 from 6 plants at the moment. I am not exspecting loads as the soil they are in needs a lot of improving, but would like to know what a plant like yours will produce.

I've made the mistake of putting 9 plants there!  I thought that as the squash are fairly small that the plant would be too - how wrong can I be!

I don't know how many fruit there are, the growth is so thick it's a bit hard to see them.

You will be able to rent that out you know, with that heavy foliage it could make a good summer residence for a while.

Great picture XX Jeannine
