Title: Small sweetcorn cobs this year

Is it just me or are the sweetcorn cobs on the small side this year?

Well they had some chicken manure a few weeks ago

Mine seem to be swelling really well - and earlier than last year.

I planted three varieties of sweetcorn this year, 'Bantam' which is an early one and the cobs are already formed and doing very well, :)

my sweetcorn is a bit of a disaster this year not many survived the transplanting & they are developing very slowly :'(

Mine haven't even put out tassels yet, let alone silks. Lovely happy bonny plants though.

Mine have tassels  etc but is only about 2 feet high
