.... can I mulch the ground with garden compost? I mulched it in spring, but that's all been dug in by the worms.

If you're forecast more rain I'd wait until it stops.....

RIght thanks. Looks like we've got rain/drizzle forecast up until Friday, so I know what I'll be doing on Saturday!
