Title: my callaloo is flowering what do i do

my callaloo is flowering what do i do, it is only about 6-8" high. do i pick off the flowers or let them grow. it is the first year we are growing it and we did not think it flowered until it was at least 2' tall.

Would appreciate any advice

not sure, my friend who has a  Caribbean diet  and uses calaloo,  she uses the whole growth tip of the calaloo (whereas i had been picking individual leaves)i  guess once there is a decent growth tip it needs harvesting.  i would just pinch it out and see what happens and resow some more seeds as backup, and leave some to set seed or seeds save.
