We are leaving today, as soon as OH gets a courtesy car following his smash last week ::). Going to the show tomorrow then back tomorrow night. For once I'm NOT hoping for rain!(Well, it can rain in Tadcaster, but not in Kingston!)
Lookout for Ace though, he will be there with the showgardens somewhere..... ;D
Going on Sunday - and will hopefully get a few of the plants I helped to plant in the Twelfth Night garden last weekend. Ace worked on Twelfth Night and The Taming of the Shrew - look out for them on Thursday's Gardeners' World when Joe Swift will apparently look at them in greater detail.
Hope everything has survived as it was very, very hot!
The Shakespeare gardens were the last ones we saw on our way out. They were looking good- it was in the floral marquee that some flowers were obviously suffering from the heat- not sure what they'll be like by Sunday!
Had a lovely day- it didn't rain and I was pleased to see that quite a few plants which I have had in my garden for years are the height of fashion at the moment!
Looking forward to the TV coverage to find out a bit more about the ideas behind the gardens. There was lots of natural planting and a lot of the same plants recurring- I have a feeling there may be a backlash next year!
No sign of Joe today, but couldn't get near the Copella bee garden because Rachel de Thame was filming there- had to go back later.
