Title: Absence of a friend
Post by: Yellow Petals on December 09, 2004, 09:41:37
As many of you know, Rosebud is my mum.  This is just to let you know that she's a little unwell (http://pages.prodigy.net/indianahawkeye/newpage14/16.gif) at the moment.  She has been doing a little more than her angina permits (and will get a good ticking off later today (http://members.aol.com/SamLouisa/finger.gif)) and was taken to hospital yesterday and kept in overnight (http://pages.prodigy.net/indianahawkeye/newpage10/13.gif) I rang the hospital about ten minutes ago and they said she is waiting to see the doctor, but all seems well & she should be allowed back home later today  :D

Sorry to hear that Mary has been unwell.  It is so easy to overdo things this time of year.  Glad to hear she is allowed home though. Hope you will let her know how much we are all thinking of her -  she is one of the backbones of our Board.  Love and hugs to her.

Relaxation is the key, sit back and let the world go by. Hope the enforced rest does the trick.

Best wishes to 'Rosebud', and all of your family Sam.  'Tis that headless chicken time of year, I see them everywhere I turn, and find myself growing feathers, it is easily done.  You tell her to take it easy, plenty of rest and relaxation and let her know we are thinking of her.

Oh dear poor Mary!! Sam do pass on my love to her won't you?

I did try telling her to take things easy but would she listen??  :(

Let's hope she's now out of hospital and having a nice (if enforced) rest.

Thanks for letting us all know.

Eileen.

Sam, Have only just read this so hopefully your Mum is home and tucked up in bed and will rest up before Christmas is upon us.  Give her my best wishes and remind her that the big Golden One is less than seven years away and she has to be at full strength for that!!

Hello all,

(http://pages.prodigy.net/indianahawkeye/newpage08/11.gif)Thank you very much for your good wishes to my mum.

Mum came home this evening (about 6ish) having waited all day to get clearance from the consultant!

Anyway, just wanted to give an update, I'll let mum do the rest when she's feeling up to popping in  :) (http://pages.prodigy.net/indianahawkeye/newpage08/11.gif)

Thanks again,
Sam.
