Is it really worthwhile on a Miele freezer?
Is it really worthwhile on anything. The amount charged keeps those massive insurance company buildings going, not to mention all the people in them. Obviously, there is more paid than is paid out. In the UK we have reasonable cover under trading standards regulations, normally one year guarantee and six years for inherent faults. Not as good as Germany though where three year guarantees are the norm. (many German goods bought in the UK also carry three year warranties).
Thats a pretty good one Tim, I would take the chance on good workmanship XX Jeannine
I wouldn't bother Tim. Miele are very reliable and freezers in general seem to last pretty much for ever.
This is what Consumer Direct have to say:

Helpful - thanks.
