So far there are several Green Hubbard and two Crown Prince fruit swelling nicely in among the greenery. I'm still waiting for more male flowers to appear at the right time for the Hunters, Jarrahdale and Futsu as quite a few female fruit have withered due to lack of pollination. As far as I'm aware only the largest Green Hubbard and one of the Crown Princes was hand pollinated. The others are a mystery because I know of no other garden in the vicinity where squashes are being grown!

this is one of our uchi kuri I hand pollinated , swapped pollen with a 'hooligan' that's coming on well..all the squash are now covered in pollen beetles so they should be ok now..btw, this squash was end of june, it's growing very fast ;D
Looking good ;D
Looking very, very nice :) but making me feel terribly late, mainly due to germination failure followed by late frosts .
Could you tell me the sowing/planting out dates and what kind of protection you used, to help for next year.
Thanks a lot
