My daughter Becky found out today that she got a "first" in her psychology degree from Sheffield University. I can't help wanting to tell everyone! :D
Are there any more proud parents of new graduates out there?
Congratulations, Becky..well done, nice to hear some good news ;D
Well done Becky. Mums are allowed to brag. I'm sure you are all very proud of her achievment.
oh well done whata result ;D
They are indeed, and well done Becky! :)
Congratulations Becky, well done.
Well done Becky, that's brilliant!
Very well done, you're rightly proud.
At last some good news to cheer me up
Fabulous news, wel done Becky!
I know how you feel Caroline, remember it like yesterday when my son got his Law degree, will never ever forget that smile on my face and smile in my heart :)
Congratulations to Becky! :)
I'm a proud mum, too - my son Charlie has got a first in his Maths degree. We're headed to Durham tomorrow for the graduation ceremony. :) :) :)
Twin brother Owen's results won't be known for a couple of weeks...in the meantime, he has strict instructions to water anything and everything in a pot, till we get back to Hampshire on Friday evening. ;D ;D ;D
Thanks everyone, and congratulations to Charlie :D
Becky's graduation is on the 19th.
Well done Becky and Charlie - see what all that fruit and veg did for you ;D
It's testing time for the children now - results looming - good luck to all.
Ninny
Big congratulations for both Becky and Charlie from me too ;D
Oh, and also to their proud mums!
Congratulations to Becky and Charlie for obtaining firsts.
Thanks for sharing our happiness, everyone. The degree ceremony for Charlie was in Durham yesterday and it was wonderful - very much a rite of passage, with just enough pomp and plenty of pride and pleasure. It was quite moving to see Charlie shake the Chancellor's hand and to see all the new graduates process out afterwards. :) :) :)
Oh, and the Chancellor happens to be one of my favourite writers, Bill Bryson. ;D ;D ;D
A day to remember always....
