Bought a bare rooted apple tree fropm Aldi in Autunm and it's got three apples...do I really have to pinch off the emergent fruit?

ok...when you have newly planted tree..it will need all of its energy for putting desent growth on..roots and top growth..it will take few years growth for the tree to establish itself so it is strong enough to produce and carry decent quality and quantity of fruit... ;)..now by letting the tree to produce very early in its life..will not only slow the establishing bit..but the development of the tree maybe compromised too..too weak growth will not able to carry heavy loads of fruit and may break the tree....that's the theory anyway... ::)
Personally I don't let my trees to bear fruit for first 3 years..and it has worked well for me.. ;)
