Title: Dicentra question
Post by: caroline7758 on June 27, 2010, 15:39:59
Will it do any harm if I cut back the foliage of my dicentra before it has died back? It's in a rather overcrowded area of my garden and I could do with the stems being out of the way!

Not at all...I have one that is in wrong place..cannot dig it out because other plants..so last few years I've tried to pull it out..but every spring it just re-grow.. ::)..so I doubt some pruning will do any difference.. ;D

I've just cut my dicentra bleeding heart down, it had grown huge and was crowding the other plants out, I do this every year, no problems so far  ;D
