I'm off down the plot to get away from the bloody football and hopfully not an England flag in sight.
Watching it on my own with a nice glass of chilled wine to soften the inevitable blows......... 8) ;D OH is taking my son down the pub to watch it with his friends so I have the house to myself, bliss..... ;D
I shall sit down front of telly with bucket of pea pods, empty bowl and a rubbish bag..shell the peas and think of England.. ::)..and if it gets really boring..I've got bag of compost and some bedding plants ready and waiting to go into containers.. ::).
I can't just sit and watch..multitasking..that's me.. ;D
I shall probably have laptop on lap & be in & out chasing broodies off their bleeping nest boxes. Grrrrrr. Cricket before the football :).
As I am at work, I shall vanish into a long tunnel to keep cool and inspect it for the usual things. So if I happen to miss the blooming football all well and good.
I shall at least be keeping cool while all around will have hot heads. ;D
Cooking birthday cakes, packet mix with granddaugher, while her Dad and Mum go to the silly pub to watch the silly football. I just love tennis, but hope England win the footall, too hot to go to the allotment today, got the fan on and all the windows open. Talking to my lovely, lovely cat, that doesn't live here (ha, ha). Very intelligent cat apart from trying to jump from the top windows (as they were open) to watch me coming back from the shops with more cat food. Got locked out today and the cat was trying to open the front door to let me in. OH was in bed asleep, went to shops too early, and they didn't open until 10 am so had to come back and out again. My birthday yesterday, thank you for the good wishes, my daughter's today, going to cook salad and cake, my son's on Wednesday, all together.
Had hoed to go to an open garden but just realised son has my car and OH has courtesy car as his is in the garage and I'm not insured to drive it. >:( Too hot to do much else so may be forced to watch it while ironing!
While Tony was watching the FI moror racing I cooked lunch and cleaned the bathroom and toilet and changed the bed. I am now well and truly knackered. Have to go to the plot this evening when its abit cooler to pick strawberries.
Half time, and it should be 2-2. We needed a Polish linesman.
made gooseberry and elderflower jam, elderflower cordial and got the ingredients ready for muscat syrup, prepared, sorry ate..half of the strawberries we picked this morning and froze the rest...podded lots of peas, just sat down with a nice shandy and came on here ;D
Oh..that sounded nice..would you mind putting you muscat syrup into recipes..?
You dont have to wory about finding something else to do anymore...lol
My dinner almost ready but Im going to bin the roast beef and have a bratwurst instead ;D

Volunteering with National Trust it was very quiet Not many people turned up. I think that they were doing something else. Was there something special on TV perhaps?

I was revising my sea weed id under a sail in the garden ready for a sea life test on thursday.
There was a lot of swearing and angry kicking of objects from the neighbours though.
...more like advising the fans to keep peace after the match... ::)
Was drinking guinness and watching my mate fall asleep in the corner. Managed to resurrect the day and plant some herbs though!
My uncle got this from B&Q half Price yesterday now every time he fills it full a sh*te says he will think of the 2010 England team ;D ;D
